Japan-Origin Blockchain “JasmyChain” Completes Mainnet Migration

Launched on Arbitrum Orbit with JASMY as Custom Gas Token, Providing a Foundation for AI × Web3 Use Cases

The mainnet migration of JasmyChain, an EVM-compatible Layer 2 blockchain based on Arbitrum Orbit, has been finished, and production operations have officially begun.

The network has moved into a full-scale operational phase after the testnet’s verification results were made public in August 2025. With improved security, performance, and operational frameworks, JASMY is the bespoke gas token used in this phase.

Background of the Mainnet Migration

JasmyLab has concentrated on creating a foundation that strikes a compromise between “EVM compatibility” and a “high-speed, low-cost execution environment” in order to take advantage of current development resources in the AI X Web3 area.

We carried out iterative testing and enhancements focused on apps with heavy on-chain activity on the JasmyChain testnet, which was introduced in 2025. This is where chain characteristics and operational difficulties are most apparent. In particular, we assessed and enhanced the following areas:

• Operational verification under high transaction volume (execution flow, stability during congestion, failure rates, etc.).
• Fee model verification (gas cost trends, predictability, and parameter adjustment).
• Behavioral evaluation at peak loads (latency, retries, RPC stability, and node operational load).
• User flow verification (wallet connection, network addition, and transaction confirmation experience).
• Strengthening operational systems (monitoring, logs, alerts, recovery procedures, and security operations).
• Reflecting feedback from developers and partners (DX improvements, documentation, and expanded samples).

Based on these results, we have launched JasmyChain as a production-ready mainnet with reinforced security and performance.

Features of JasmyChain Mainnet

1. Arbitrum Orbit-based Rollup L2

Using the Arbitrum Nitro stack and the “Arbitrum Orbit” framework, JasmyChain is a Layer 2 blockchain that is compatible with Ethereum. It strives for low execution costs and high throughput while preserving Ethereum ecosystem compatibility and offering network design flexibility.

2. $JASMY Adopted as Custom Gas Token

Any ERC-20 token can be designated as a gas token using Arbitrum Orbit. JasmyChain uses $JASMY as its gas currency, connecting $JASMY fee payments to network utility (transaction execution).

3. Full EVM Compatibility and Developer-Friendly Design

Existing Solidity smart contracts and development tools can be ported nearly exactly as is because of the Arbitrum Nitro stack. This makes it possible for dApps built on Ethereum or other L2s to launch on JasmyChain with little change.

4. Design Future-Proofed for Account Abstraction (AA)

The design takes into account gas sponsorship, “gas station” features for corporate accounts, and integration with various predictability mechanisms with an eye toward future user experience enhancements (onboarding akin to Web2).
