Jasmy and Bio Medica Solution begin joint development of a cell culture system utilizing web3 technologies such as blockchain
Jasmy Inc. (Location: Minato-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Kazumasa Sato; hereinafter “Jasmy”), has started joint development of an integrated management system for cell culture that utilizes blockchain technology and operates on a platform developed by Jasmy with Bio Medica Solution (Location: Ibaraki City, Osaka; CEO: Atsushi Nakao; hereinafter “BMS”). A trial version of the system is scheduled to be available at the beginning of next year.
As the need for DX (Digital Transformation) is widely called for in various business fields, Jasmy has been aiming to achieve both more innovative data utilization and information security by utilizing web3 technologies such as blockchain.
We have decided to jointly develop a new cell processing integrated management system with BMS, a company with long experience in this field and the latest cell culture technology and management know-how.
The cell processing integrated management system being developed by BMS will incorporate Jasmy Platform’s “Jasmy Secure PC”, “Jasmy Personal Data Locker”, NFT, and consortium-type blockchain, etc. to securely manage important information related to cell culture and to prevent tampering.
